About Our Church

Serving Our Community Since 1982

Founded in 2000 and officially registered as a religious organization under the Societies Act in March 29th 2005, Christ Is The Way Ministries (CITWAM) is a vibrant Christian ministry headquartered in Trans-Nzoia County, Western Kenya. The highest organ of governance for CITWAM is the Church Council. The Council, chaired by the Bishop, is responsible for overseeing the implementation of ministry activities and ensuring that they align with the organization’s vision and mission. The ministry has regional presence in multiple counties, including Turkana, West-Pokot, Nandi, Migori, Machakos, Makueni, and Isiolo, with branch churches serving these regions. Each of these regions plays a vital role in fulfilling CITWAM’s mission to bring the gospel to diverse communities, while also addressing unique local challenges.

"Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

— John 14:6
