In Kalemrekai, West Pokot—a region shaped by resilience but strained by poverty, early marriages, and limited opportunity—the CITWAM Tumaini Kalemrekai Empowerment Project emerges as a beacon of hope. Rooted in Christian faith, the project is transforming 14 acres of land into a holistic empowerment centre offering: Spiritual grounding through worship and missions Practical skills in agriculture, livestock, and entrepreneurship Support for families and youth leadership development Christian counseling and health education Advocacy for justice and inclusion The Centre aims to raise a generation of self-reliant, faith-driven leaders and restore dignity to vulnerable communities. With a funding goal of Kshs 20 million (USD 150,000) for initial infrastructure, CITWAM invites partners—individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations—to invest in this life-changing vision. Together, we can bring lasting transformation to Kalemrekai.
